Joseph H. Keebler, Jr.
Joe maintains a general law practice with the focus in many different areas. He frequently assists both buyers and sellers in real estate transactions. He has worked with many people to assist them in preparing real estate agreements. He frequently works with all of the local banks in Venango County and is able to guide purchasers through the borrowing process from application through closing.
A significant portion of Joe’s practice is assisting clients with estate planning needs. He helps people with all manner of estate planning issues from the drafting of a Will or Trust through the creation of a Health Care Directive. He is willing to listen to his client’s needs and cater their estate plan to the client based on their goals and objectives.
Joe also represents numerous individuals who are responsible for administrating the estate of a loved one. Joe and his staff guide executors and other personal representatives through the difficult process of handling an estate from beginning to end. Joe is committed to making this process as easy as possible for his clients.
Joe practices in the area of family law and has aggressively represented individuals in custody issues, support and divorce. He serves as a custody mediator and a child advocate and is appointed to represent parties in Children and Youth Services litigation. Joe understands how difficult family law issues can be and is willing to do the difficult work of fighting for his clients in the judicial system.
Joe also represents clients in civil litigation ranging from oil and gas issues to personal injury cases. He assists injured people with social security claims and workers compensation claims. He represents businesses of all kind in a wide variety of ways.
Joe provides legal advice to various municipalities including the Zoning Hearing Board of the City of Oil City and the Clintonville Sewer and Water Authority and the Venango County Tax Collection Committee.
Joe graduated from Grove City College with a bachelors of arts degree cum laude in 1992 and was a 1995 graduate of Duquesne University School of Law where he received his juris doctorate cum laude. Joe is admitted to practice in the courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court of the Western District of Pennsylvania.
